Description
Cornus contraversa ‘Golden Wedding’ is a sport from a seedling in the nursery. It has stabilized quickly into a layered tree. Foliage has margins of golden and creamy areas around a green central portion. It has been noted for not sun burning up New Zealand growing conditions. New growth has a bronze tint, and autumn foliage takes on pink tones.

Typical white blooms of C. contraversa expected with age.

Golden edged foliage which slowly turns to cream by late summer.
Habit
Pyramidal habit with layers of branches typical of C. contraversa.
Culture
Moist free draining, fertile soils. Full sun for at least half the day.

Hardy. (USDA Zone 8-11).
