Description
This elegant native NZ shrub was selected from a batch of seedlings in 1996. ‘Silver Cape’ is set apart from other Ozothamunus by its distinctive intense shimmering silver foliage. The species O. retorta has lime green foliage. In addition to the shimmering foliage ‘Silver Cape’ has a tight upright habit making it ideal for hedging & topiary work. ‘Ideal for the coastal garden – tolerant of wind salt & exposed conditions. Best grown in full sun in well-drained soil. Perfect for the garden border, hedging or coastal plantings. Hardy. 1 x 0.6m.
