Description
‘Bronze Warrior’ is a unique new native Pseudopanax from New Zealand. The fine five lobed glossy leaves of this selection have a heavily toothed margin resembling an elegant maple. To complement this the new foliage flushes throughout the season intense bronze slowly ageing to a deep bottle green giving an attractive two-tone effect. ‘Bronze Warrior’ has a tightly branched upright habit ultimately forming a medium to large sized shrub. This elegant new plant will provide year round interest in the border or is an ideal selection for a structural low maintenance pot or container on the deck or patio. An excellent new addition to the New Zealand gardener pallet. Best grown in moist, fertile soils in full sun to light shade. Hardy to –7°C. 1.8 x 1.6m.
