A colourful new dwarf selection of Phormium cookianum selected by Vince Naus, Taranaki, New Zealand. ‘Black Magic’ has fine jet black spiky foliage highlighted by a fine lime green leaf margin – in time forming dwarf of elegant spiky architectural foliage. A petite little NZ native to stop you in your tracks. ‘Black Magic’ provides great year interest, ideal for use in containers, in the garden border or for mass planting in the low maintenance landscape. Hardy. 0.45 x 0.3m.
